Symbolize your stage of life

When I first moved to Atlanta, I was so excited to be so close to so many of my favorite people again. I was no longer going to be long distance from some of the best humans in the world and I was ecstatic. And since I’ve moved here, it’s just been so joyful to be near such a community of people I love. It’s so homey, it doesn’t have to be as hard and thought out as when you’re a severallll hour drive away. We can go get coffee, we can go for a walk, we can go to the gym, we can have a game night. It all makes me so happy.

And as a past English major, you know I love symbolism. So if I had to choose one thing to symbolize how this stage of life is making me feel I would choose my crocs. One of our friends gave them to me and my husband right after our wedding and it was the perfect gift. They’re so versatile, you can kick them off as soon as you get to someone’s house, you can use them to let your feet breath after a long run, you can wear them before going to the pickleball courts, or even before you put heels on for the office! They’re perfect, and mine are yellow (my fav color) and they have a cow jibbit (did you know they were called jibbits and not jiblets?? I swear I’ve been saying it wrong my entire life).

So if you’re in a friend-filled stage of life like me (or want to be soon) you should get some crocs. They’re the best symbol of a cozy on the go life :)
